Suspected Illegal, Unsafe & Inappropriate Activity in Wooded Area Between Crown Pointe & Ashley Green

Over the past several days, three residents, who have asked to remain anonymous, have reported the following activity in the wooded area along our northern boundary to the HOA:

• Individuals observed smoking what was believed to be marijuana in the woods.

• Individuals are lighting small fires and fleeing when approached.

We contacted the Madison Police Department seeking their assistance. They have advised us to tell our residents that if they witness the behavior described, to contact the department's Communications Division’s non-emergency number at (256) 722-7190 immediately as the events are happening, so they can get officers out there to deal with the situation.
